This blog is a collection of thoughts, ideas and opinions from the students in the Spring 2025 Media History – Interaction Design History class at California College of the Arts.

Over the semester we will move from early writing and pictography (comparing to contemporary iconography and emoji use) through the development of the computer and the graphical user interface to the web and invention of the iPod and iPhone to considering 1st, 2nd and 3rd degrees of consequences to our designs as we consider the future of the practice.
